Go F@#k Your Elf - Laggamuffin Festival
The time has come for the third annual, and final Salty Lagoon hat party, this Saturday (1st October) in Manly. Summer is almost here and the party is a sure way to kick in the warmer days and rays. Starting from midday, the party will attract live music from artists like Ed Worland, Kelsey McKlean, Sandy Scanlin, Tim Bowan, Olivia Rosebury, James Willing, Rowan Racing Stripes, and Selected DJ's inbetween the live acts. The legend of 'The Lag' lives on. Dungeon warriors, Jerusha the shower lady, the predator out the back, and Lazy Susan.
Those who should know about the party know where it is. Its hot, its exclusive, and if you should be there, you'll be there. The Lag is where the best parties of the last three years have been held. Missing members Roland Prianto, Sam Barker, Giles 'The Adventures of' Roberts can't be there, which means the rest of us need to have as much fun as possible, so we can rub it in to them. Go Fuck Your Elf!

RVF - New Booking Agency
Two weeks ago, James Willing and I were lucky enough to have an all-expenses-paid trip to the snow to play a live gig at The River Inn, Thredbo thanks to the Rim and Filip from RVF Entertainment. Everything from accommodation, crazy amounts of food, whiskey/schnaps and beer, snow gear, ski passes was included. Wild. By 3pm the place was thumping, people dancing on tables and carrying on. It turns out people love a bit of Sublime in the snow, so we were pretty popular for a couple of hours. By 6pm we wound up a super fun set of music and got to enjoy the rest of the evening with the snow bogans and ski bunnies. Late night sliding down slopes on cafeteria trays, ice burns, dancing the night away. I do recall thinking 'we're living the dream right now'. Followed by a day of eating (in our best bogan accents) 'pie n' a coke' and snowboarding all morning. The weekend was nothing short of amazing.
RVF Entertainment directors Rim Budas and Filip Olmin are onto a great thing. Only months into starting up the booking agency, they're getting calls from popular events companies, hotels, large corporations, and of course bars/restaurants/private events.
Easy to work with, dedicated to both performer and client, energetic, and working around the clock to make their company grow, these gents will only get busier with larger and more impressive clientelle in the near future.
Personally, its comforting as a performer to have booking agents who are so personable and interested in you as a person, and as a performer, and who really want to negotiate the best possible rates for us and for their cliets. It feels great...and I can tell you that we're looking forward to the snow season next year if these guys have anything to do with it!! Frothing
